I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

hahahaha

The only time I changed anything was when you built a TRICK JUMP!!!

Well, I built that race section too. That's it, though.

You have to admit we had some kickass trails, though. hahaha.

nikku, those bikes look helllllla heavy. when u say 'trick' bike u meen flatland stuff? or like street riding ie: handrails, ledges, 360 steps and shit like that?

if your looking @ flatland bikes u should talk to TURBEVO8. mike. he was mad good back in the day he could deff take u in the right direction for flatland.

anyways.. got back from the beach today when i got home i noticed a bunch of boxes on my bed...

handlebars, chain, grips, stem, headset, seat, post, chainbreaker and forks made it. all thats left now is to build my wheel set.
.saint, the honda EK parts jdMuseum.

.saint, yeah its for flatland, but lots for just getting around japan too. since those dont have kickstands i am also thinking about getting one of those cruiser bikes with huge fucking tires (they kinda look like the front tires of a motorcycle). just tired of walking around and having to worry about the last train. get a bike, no more last train worries.

here is what my bike is gonna look like. minus the frame color. my frame is mint green... i would like to raw it eventually, if i did that it would be IDENTICAL to this bike. its edwin delarosa's setup (my fav rider) i just copied his bike check, figuring he is my fav and the best IMO so he knew what parts are good and crap haha.. but yeah once my shits legit and setup it will look like this...
Image also while on vaca i stopped @ the nike outlet store and scored a pair of legit 6.0 riding shoes... these are the kick that nigel sylvester (another 1 of my BROOKLYN favs wears) saved $40 buying them @ the outlet, cant wait till my bikes put together!!
Image Image Image i think i might look for a pair of yellow laces for em ;)

animals new rims are about to drop this week (i hope) so i been holding off finishing my setup. the rims are built towards brakeless rides so the sidewall isnt as steep and its super super strong the way they have it angled. its also built to be cross laced. so the spokes on the left side of the hub cross to the right side of the rim and vice versa. im really stoaked on these.

still waiting on spoke size. since i bought the very first set of animal rims on the market no one had a chance to lace them up to any hubs yet so im still waiting on a spoke length to my front and rear hubs. i miss riding :(

im also looking to pick up a fixed gear road bike over the winter to ride all over the place next summer. im super super excited for my bikes.

the road bike im looking at comes with a flip flop rear hub so i could run the freewheel or the fixed gear. pretty slick.
