You'd be perfectly fine on 91 dude.... 89 likely if you stay out of boost. As long as you don't detonate you're good, and if you're that concerned about gas, i'm sure you're not flat footing everywhere romping like hell on the car...

i dont think im going to have the wrx for much longer. hopefully only a month or 2. i was going to start running 91 in the car actually on the next fill up just to save a few bucks. i rarely use boost ever. the car was an impulse buy and im kinda kicking myself in the ass for it now (since the price of gas sky rocked at least) i had fun with it but i have a huge commute on the weekends now & im just going to get something a little better on gas... well a lot better on gas. been eye'n a black cr-z

I used to get 28-32mpg in the Civic. I finally replaced the a/c idler pulley assy so I could throw a belt on there and stop sweating my ass off, and god I get 20 now if i'm lucky. I feel like a tard complaining about 20mpg though, considering the Subaru only got about 8, but then again, that was when it ran, lol.
