actually the mustang has a really interesting history with japanese design. In I believe mid 60s is when the mustang began coming with a hood scoop and air vents in the rear fender, but alas, they were not functional. Because of an underpowered motor and a steep price tag for something that didnt really do what it was supposed to, sales started to drop. Enter the japanese. I forget his exact name but he was called into completely redesign the mustang and bring it back to power, welp. A shoe horning of a giant motor and the aerodynamics recarved the mustang came back to power with the BOSS series and of course the gorgous styling of late 60s early 70s. In recent years the EXACT same thing has happened except this time the redesigner they call in was vietnamese by way of Japan I believe, and voila, it looks like the original Japanese design again.

When worst comes to worst, Ford goes JDM.

congrats ont he pony... i always wanted one when Iw as little, I still do, just for a race machine, but as of right now, all ic ana fford is what ic an do my hatch... which by the way.. is trash now, because some big ol 05 nissan titan decided to not step ont he rbeaks and launch meinto a honda accord that was trying to take a left turn... but yeah!
