I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

just curious but does the goal of 450whp sound unreasonable for my next tune next year on pump gas? i talked to denis from hybrid and he said he wouldnt push it but i've sen plenty of similar setups over that. i dunno just figured i'd get some opinions

i know you know my opinion, but a 9:1 83mm GSR w/ an ITR head w/ supertech valvetrain and blox b's is more than enugh of a setup to do it..

Look at the 400+ whp pump gas builds on honda-tech or evans-tuning and youll see what i mean.

Christ, MY old setup was kinda close to that on pump gas. Granted it blew, but there was something up with it, you can attest to that.

i think the only reason he's saying he doesn't want to push it, isn't because he doesn't think it's capable ... but rather the fact that most people don't like to go above 400whp on pump.

I'd do it on race gas. Shit...pump gas is almost that expensive anyhow.

X2

My car made 418 on pump @ 18lbs on my old setup. I would have a hard time seeing 450 SAFELY with that size turbo even with the bigger exhaust housing. I think on the new setup i made right around the same hp at the same boost my powerband shifting is what really set the car off. Whats the deal with pump gas anyway with the money invested run the higher octane and be safe about it. Good luck

maybe i'll run race gas....its just not that convenient for me cuz they dont sell it at the pumps here id have to buy like a drum of it or something. I dunno maybe that is a lil high but hopefully it's definitely see over 400 with a decent powerband.
