If by movement you mean the JDM movement, well I consider EVOs DSMs and they have been in Japan as of course everyone knows since the beginning. The reliability (at least on the VII-IX) is awesome too! Although I will admit the 1st and 2nd gen Eclipses/Talons did need a lot of wrench work to keep them going fast.

I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

depends on what your take is on jdm. to some a 'jdm' car is just the clean styling of the japanese market. some people claim it to be japanese parts on a usdm car.
if in fact they claim it to be clean styling i can see them calling the car jdm. but to most people its just japanese parts on a us car.
they did import eclipses to japan and toyota even bought the rights from chevy to produce the toyota cavalier and the toyota camaro, with a very limited run. a slight things were changed from the US to japan spec like side winkers and the rear taillights. and of cource a right hand drive. but this can also be found searching google and alot of the UK cars come up along with pics of some RHD.
