I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

License Plate Brackets

Post by JaySmith » April 25, 2005

Image BYS makes this for the S2000, but does anyone know where Mike, and myself could locate brackets similar to these? We've seen them before on our buddies Civic, but he keeps quiet. :p

See lucky bastard....

Well the BYS one is not as cool as the one my buddy Kev has. His actually has the abililty to move up, and down if need be. (not motorized). And suggestions on how we'd make that? :p

Possibly. Considering the one on Kevs car is made by some no name company, and have now been discontinued.

The BYS one is quite hideous, but the one my friend Kev has is pretty nice. Its a Japanese thing. Focusing the plate downwards, to prevent photo radar or something I was told. We just need one, as Mikes ITR bumper has had the license plate holes shaven.

I always saw that it was hinged so that it would lay flat at speed to prevent blocking the FMIC or any other intake. I don't see the point in doing it if the plate can't lay flat. Kinda pointless to misuse the product if you don't understand it's main objective...
