I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

[*fs*] Pair of Racing Seats

Post by Bennett @ ESG » May 02, 2005

Well here are my seats.
http://www.steveharrell.com/cars/seats4sale/index.htm
There are a couple things I need to explain so please be patient. Ive had these stored and covered for a few months, I have decided I do not want racing seats so I want to sell. These come with universal brackets but I cannot gaurantee they will fit in your car without modification. I personally do not like the yellow inserts. Luckily, all the inserts easily come out and go back on. As you can see in the 2nd half of pics I took the cushions off and wrapped them with some dark grey fabric to see what it would look like. It was extremely easy and to permanently wrap would be easy too(you could either sew or staple them to the back, who sees the back of the inserts anyway?). I just wrapped a big piece of fabric around and it almost looks stock so its very easy. Secondly, one of the seats is a little faded, the black part that is. For some reason, the company made it easy for us and you can take the entire black part off too. It is attached by A LOT of velcro and a detachable spring that is underneath. My plan was to remove the black part, buy some black fabric dye and make them look new, but now im selling instead. Theyre true racing seats and dont recline. However you can adjust the brackets in several positions to make it recline or stand straight up. I adjusted it to recline and it was further back than i have my stock seats(and i lean pretty far back being 6'2". They hug like no other on your entire body and are super comfortable.
Im asking $100 for both. im in Long Beach, CA. Not sure how i would ship these but buyer would pay, and it probably wont be cheap, or we could work out some meeting somewhere in socal/central cali.
