I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Removal of Stereo
Had a few questions on removing the stereo out of my 2000 civic si. Do I have to take out the whole climate control center part, or should the stereo and din slip out either through the front or the back? This is giving me a headache....
if its bolted to the climate controls then the whole climate controll unit needs removed there is a few scres on the bottom and i think possibly one on each side. u gotta remove the whole bottom of the dash to get to the screws. when i get home from work ill see if i can throw up a lil 'how-to'

cool, I figured it out late last night, I just ended up ripping the whole climate control out, made things much easier. But I do need the Honda part number for a 96-98 cup holder if you know it. Or if you can find a good deal on a type r one. Theres one @ icb right now but it looks pretty beat up...

Well I know about half of how big of a pain in the ass it was, I was helping you earlier. BWAHAH. That sucks about the knob. If you EVER come down we can fix it with some nice daylight im sure. Oh and today I found a cut on my head from when I was under your dash on the driver side trying to look at shit. I cut it on one of those nasty metal pieces down there when you were in your house. I didnt tell you cause I didnt think it was a big deal, haha I think i bled a little bit in my hair..Ew..
