I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I know you're saying that you have to rush it, but take the time to do it right.

You're going to need the rear mount from a 99-00 Si and the cast iron drivers side mount from the 99-00 Si (the part of the mount that the pins go through that's attached to the block). They're about $100 for both from a Honda dealership.

Do yourself a favor and get an obd2 motor. Just because you have a jumper harness doesn't mean you can run an obd1 motor...that just means you can run an obd1 ecu on an obd2 motor.

Considering you get an obd2 motor the wiring will be plug and play other than running the vtec wiring. obd1 motor is way more wiring (ie...injectors, distributor swap, etc.)

Use your stock harness and lengthen wires where you need to. Saves you a headache.

Also change the timing belt and water pump while the motor is out. No matter how many miles they say is on the motor.

You'll also need the stock Bseries shift linkage and you'll have to get your exhaust cut so the flange can be spun to where it lines up.

Good luck.

B18b is about the same as a B16 as far as swapping. You just don't have to wire vtec. Wiring vtec isn't bad anyhow.

I'll see if duanne (30 stones) still has the diagram to wire vtec.

Everything is extremely straight forward. Its just like dropping another d series in there ... but you need to run 3 wires or so for vtec and maybe lengthen some of the plug harnesses.

Its not bad at all brudda....

like munster said ... take the time and do it right. Don't shortcut anywhere ... or you'll have headache's later.
