My car got hit and I'm sad.

I'm in the jack in the box drive thru around 1 am last night when the dumb ass girl in front of me decides to put her chevy silverado in reverse and back into me. It all happened pretty fast, I didn't really have time to honk. I noticed her coming right before she hit and I thought about reversing but someone was behind me as well. So I get out ready to scream at whoever hit me but I kept my cool because I had some friends with me(one of them female, I try to keep my cool around girls). Her car put a softball sized hole through my front bumper, bent and scratched the piece under the headlights and cracked the bottom of my JDM amber corner. I got all her info, except her insurance because she didnt "have it with her". Hopefully she really does have insurance like she said. I'm surprised I stayed so calm during the whole thing, I think it was because I know exactly what needs to be fixed, and the car is still driveable. So it looks like I'll need a whole new front bumper, piece under the headlights, and ONE jdm amber corner(I'm sure it will be easy finding one, shit).

You didn't get her insurance information because she "didn't have it with her?"

Dude, wake up! Next time call the cops!

I hope she's honest and comes through with it or you could be on your own with the repairs.

ouch, yeah if some1 happened to have forgot there insurance info thats when the cops need to be involved. i hope u dont get burned. hope is all works out... fyi.. from the damage the bumper could be repared, might even be a lil cheaper that way?

Ya i know I should have called the cops, not sure why I didn't. I feel pretty dumb right now because I don't usually lack that judgement. I did get all her other info though(registration, vin, license number, etc.) And I have 4 witnesses with their name and numbers and already reported it all to my insurance agency. I have her name and number as well and have already made contact with her, so I don't think I'm gonna get screwed. Thanks for lookin out guys.
