I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

i would go turbo because theres so many ways to adjust them and if ur not boosting to high all the time there pretty reliable for daily driving. what turbo are you looking at and what size?

Turbo. Look at the civic si vortch built. total bottom end....every single bolt on......yeah...it has 255 hp....but the fastest 1/4 mile time in a year was 14.6. id rather shoot my load on 3'gs before spending it on a vortech. and u can only upgrade a charger so much. go on http://www.dragtimes.com it has a ton of cars, all their upgrades, and thier actuall time slips. also check out honda 1/4 mile registry. turbos are just as reliable as chargers,,,just require more maintence

We're working on the actual setup right now. I'm working with SlowBoy Racing on it.

Oh. I'm going turbo. It won't be for a while, though. I have other stuff to iron out.

You can get good times out of a s/c. I personally like JRSC. With turbocharged cars even well maintained small stuff happens and if its a daily driven car you dont want more than 250-275 hp to the wheels or your just gonna eat through your tires. Its mostly about practicality what do you think you would be satisfied with. BTW I love turbo's and everything but I applied the practicallity thing to me and it just wasnt practical hehe. :2:

You do knwo that car was geared for top speed. If we are thinking about the same si. And 14.6 is shit for a supercharged si, he can do better.

I'm working with a shop right now on the turbo kit for my LS (when I find the motor...keep a lookout for me, will ya?). We're slowly getting everything ironed out. I'm going with a T25, 440cc injectors, spearco fmic, s. florida performance tubular manifold, and still working out other details.

I just need to find the motor to put it on. Everything I'm finding is insane amounts of miles or just from shady sources.
