I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Brake lines

Post by hondalover » June 09, 2006

Imm putting rear disks on my 98 hatchback, the brakes are off of a gsr. What i was wondering is i wanted to put braided lines on while i did the conversion, But where i find the lines it only comes in a complete kit either for my car or for the gsr. I was wondering if i got the gsr kit would the fronts still fit on my car or do i need the civic front lines?

I have a set of rears from an EX and fronts from an Integra. I got Earls lines for a 99-00 Si. I'm hoping they work. I know there's some calipers that have a low profile banjo (I think the del sol) and others are a thicker banjo (integras and others).

I haven't had time to tear mine apart, but if I get the chance I'll try the line to the caliper for ya. Routing wise I was figuring that the Si would be the correct length...that's why I got that set.

Hey munster thanks alot when u figure it out please tell me, i dont wanna have to order two different sets of braided lines. I dont know if u know me or not i met u at carlisle with boob, i got the b16a3 out of the delsol off of him. I was wondering he said u would trade final drives with me, was wondering if u were still interested. Im debating now on to just throw the motor in now or wait till i have money to build it first. Thanks

I remember you. I actually saw your car drive by when we were at the Built booth. Boob told me that it was you w/ the B16.

I'd still trade you final drives if you're down.

Ill talk to boob this week, to see about getting the final drive outta my tranny, I have a few problems now with my car axle is bad, exaust is rusting off so im getting all the parts this week to put a new exaust on my car, and put the b16 in within the end of the month. Ill try to call boob later tonight.
