I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Death and Destruction of my DC2

Post by miyagi » November 26, 2007

to make a long story short - i was trying to ride out some bad tires for the remainder of the week before i stopped driving the car for the year and ended up sliding out coming off an exit around 2AM. Hit a light pole, and no one was injured. That's really all the further i want to go with the story hah.

Bought i back from insurance on friday, stripped it that night ... junking it in the morning. Here's the aftermath ... we had some fun with a sledge and a pickaxe. It actually looks a lot worse now ... No rear disc, interior's torn apart, stripped and filled with close to 2 cases of beer and random trash, it's beat up a lot more, door's gone, etc....
Image Image Image Image with the money i got from insurance, and the money coming from selling some things i'm paying off all my debt. I picked up popeye's old hatchback shell after it passed through the hands of 30stone's brother and then hercules. I also picked up a gsr swap for it for fairly cheap ... so i'll just be driving around. No big plans ... maybe some seats and wheels if i'm feeling dangerous next year. Here's the car i picked up incase no one remembers it..

This is the second time I saw that picture, and I still had to gasp. That sucks ass.

Good to see that Todd's car is getting driven, though.

thankfully, somehow i walked away with nothing more than a sore shoulder from busting the window out on impact and a sore neck. How, i have no idea .... but i won't ask questions haha.

i know i know. They really didn't wear any worse since i've had them. It was one of those things where i knew that the majority of my driving was across town and 'ehhh i'd be okay'

lesson learned :(
