I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

You explain it a lot more eloquently than I.

*yaawwwnnn* *yaawwwnnn* *yyaawwwnnnn* ... a lot of opinions flying around in this post... i lvoe ya jown, but i'm not going to suck you chopeck like some people on here....since i do know you. push the fucking dent out with you hand...or let me do it......even heat it up a little be3fore we do it, so there is a small crease line if anything... save your money....??... put a motor in it...just a motor...a good starting point... worry about getting it fixed after this winter then...or whenever... i don't care what you say, you want a motor, but you are too impatient to save for 3 months for one...or however long it takes. you end up turning around and blowing it on my JDM goodness (which is fine), but continuing to buy more and more is getting you nowhere in my mind.... i think you'd enjoy your car a whole lot more if it had some nuts below its twig....oh well...just my two cents.

1) push the dent out by hand
2) collect the insurance check
3) save the money
4) buy a motor (LS, GSR)
5) take it out on the streets and let goldy burn up her first set of tires

I can't imagine you can't get a motor for a fuckton less than the cost of OEM doing the bodywork even without an insurance check though. Hell, I got a perfectly good b18b block for 105$ a while back. I *KNOW* you can find a b16 or b18c head to slap on there for less than 500$ easily. That's an LS/vtec for <600$, shouldn't take THAT long to save up for if you work fulltime. Hell, I have that much in my bank account right now and I'm a poor bastard.
