I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Thanks guys! j/k

Well the dc header i have imo is not a shitty one it is the ITR copy, stainless steel 4-1 1 peice with the 2.5 inch collector which would yeild much better high rpm power than the edelbrock as it is.

The edelbrock is deffinately newer and looks nicer...even with the 2.5 inch collector mod who knows how much better/worse numbers it would make over the dc or if it would even be worth it. I've never seen dyno comparisons between the two so i cant say which is better. I would use the dc if it were my car..

Either way i offered jude the edelbrock and he wants the dc, let me know if plans change yo

sorry man wasnt trying to cheat you out of a sale. I didnt know it already had the 2.5 collector he didnt state that it was the "JDM" Type R header. As for mdding the edelbrock, edelbrock is a copy of the SMS so when you give it the 2.5 inch mod you basically got a SMS header. the integra is a goof off car and if I am spending a grand on an exhaust manifold there will be a snail hanging off the bottom :bang:. Summit had the edelbrock stainless header for 169 shipped at the time i bought it so thats why i went that route. I think Jude should man up and put boost to this bitch

Props to a guy going all-motor. ITR pistons a re a great choice on a C1. I would sit down and decide what your long term plans are for the motor and not buy random parts here and there. Stay away from the DC header and the Blox IM. Pick a set of cams and that will help you decide what parts to pick on what RPM level they peak at.

I have never herd anywhere that the Edelbrock header is a SMSP copy and IMO the primaries are much shorter than an SMSP never measured though. The modded Edelbrock has shown 7 WHP on top of an OEM ITR header which gives better power than the JDM DC. EYE would go with a Hytech copy header over both of those and can be bought for ~$350 shipped. I would also look into the Edelbrock Performer X manifold AND Skunk2 Pro1 cams.
I have done A LOT or research on these similar parts and picked the proper ones and got great results.

All-Motor doesn't come cheap but if you cut the corners in the right places it can be manageable. There is NO reason to buy expensive forged pistons and rods, head porting would be nice but a good valve job is crucial. There is a guy in Altoona here that is set up for the valve job you would need I think he charges ~$200.

LMK if you need anything always glad to help. Show these chodes what can be done all motah.
