I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
turboing my 93 teg all stock ?
I wouldn't get a boost number in your head just yet. Get the setup together, get it on, and get a good tune and go from there. See what's going to be safe.
There are alot of locals that have 440cc injectors laying around as well as left over turbo components. I would rather see you buy locally used parts than junkyard setup, but it's all you on that one.
If you're on a tight budget do something like crome or uberdata. Get a 3bar map.
The biggest thing with B18bs are the rod bolts. Just swap the stock out for some ARPs. Make sure the block is in good condition. Compression, leakdown, etc.
There's alot of people near you that are on members here that could help you out. (Just watch Mr. Miyagi. He anally rapes small rodents, and chipmunks have been hard to find lately)

yeah i forgot to say thats its a b18a non- vtec. im not really going all out balls to the wall on the turbo thing. i know a good bit about the basic stuff of the honda's but like some ecu and v-tec stuff i start to get lost, i do mostly body work, anyhow i was wondering what a 3 bar map does fuel wise i suppose and if i get a 255 fuel pump would a need a fuel regulator.
tuning wise im going to get metric motor sports to do that
thanks for the replies

You don't necessarily need to get a fuel pressure regulator but a pump would be good. The 3 bar map takes place of your standard Honda map sensor because Honda maps don't like boost pressure (roughly around 10psi). Throws codes, etc.rsdriver17 wrote:yeah i forgot to say thats its a b18a non- vtec. im not really going all out balls to the wall on the turbo thing. i know a good bit about the basic stuff of the honda's but like some ecu and v-tec stuff i start to get lost, i do mostly body work, anyhow i was wondering what a 3 bar map does fuel wise i suppose and if i get a 255 fuel pump would a need a fuel regulator.

I seriously recommend putting some money down on a standalone system like Hondata, AEM, etc. It's more stable and more fine tuned than an afc. You can get an obd1 ecu socketed and Hondata for around $500. Worth it in my opinion.
I didn't know that Metric does tuning too.
