I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
battery/power prob.
battery/power prob.
im gonna say its a weak battery thats causing this because its still the stock battery from 99..
anyways for the past 2 days my car has been running like total crap, its been almost stalling out completely at every stop i make, i gotta give it a lil gas to keep the rpms up.
so the other day i come home and let it idle in the driveway, it picks up and seems fine. turn the car off and go in the house for about 10-15 minutes... go back out to the car to do some running and nothing. the car wont even turn over or anything. pop the hood and jiggle the battery terminal and wala.. power. strange.....
so i drive to my first stop turn the car off do my thing come back out... same deal, nothing no power, jiggle terminal and wala... power.
so i come back home and pop the hood tighten the terminal down nice and tight, infact its as tight as it will go its on there good.. head back out to finish my crap, come back out of wherever i was.. same deal no power. go try and jiggle the terminal.. wala.. power..
ok so im guessing its the battery it needs slow charged, see if it can keep a charge. cause im sick of having to keep popping the hood and jiggling the wres to get the car to have power. im also sick of the horrid idle it has when i stop.. im thinking, since its a 7 year old battery to just go and get an nrg cell and be done with it cause thats what i want... but im still kinda weireded out that it needs jiggled to get power. whats your thoughts?
