slammed cars with tire flats

have you had this problem?

Today I was going to the mall and my front passenger side tire blew, so I pulled into the gas station to check it out, then when I was about to put the spare on I couldnt get the jack underneath the reinforced area because I'm on a 2.5 drop plus the tire being flat. Luckily there was this guy installing an air pump for the gas station and he had some boards and a long rod so we stacked 2 boards and then used to rod to lift the car just alittle so I could slide the jack under the reinforced area. That guy was a life saver I lucked out.

if you've had this problem, how did you get the jack under the car?

No more riding with my car dumped.

nah my car aint that low.. i have the eibach sportlines.. and it drops the car nicely w/o that problem i can fit a hydro jack underneath with someone liftinf from the fender a tad... they also sell special jacks for lowered cars

Ive always feared gettin a flat with a lowered car for that reason, that and I dont keep my spare in the hatch.

I'm drop 3 inches all around and i had a flat once but sice i got low profile tires they don't sink down like stock tires i just rode to americas tire co and they fixed it for me....

i keep a small piece of 2x4 with my spare in case i ever did have this problem.. similar to the text book idea..

The EP3 Si's are such 4x4's stock, I was able to get a jack under my car with a flat and a 2.25" neuspeed race drop...

Amazing how high this Si rides stock...
