I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

weird steering feeling

Post by tomoyasu » August 03, 2006

me and some friends went on touge tonight. and i bassically hate my car. its fucking sloooow compared to the other guys.

Anyways, when i was taking corners, the steering felt almost "slippery" i guess. the shit is weird ant it pisses me off.

What chu fools think it is? old shit that needs replacing? different tires? stiffer chassis? combonation?

I'm not sure what you mean by slippery?

Do you have power steering? Are your tires squealing/breaking traction?

Check to see if all your wheel weights are still intact and check the upper and lower ball joints and bushings. With you car being a 91 you could probably use a eurethane bushing kit if not already invested in.

i suppose slippery was a bad term to use. cuz im not sliding. i guess it just feels loose. not stiff maybe?

im guessing its just my weak ass suspension setup.
