I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

The trunk looks tits. How much weight do you think was shaved removing all of the sound deadener, tar, carpeting and rear seats?

I want too, I just don't know what I'm gonna do about the sun roof. I also want to take off the a-pillars and weld reinforcements onto them, but I'd have to find a new place for the gauges that are mounted on it

The trunk was about 12 pounds all together, Id say the front part of the car will be around 15-18

That's pretty much my only option, I just gotta find a decent priced one. Compositefab.com takes to long, and are pricey...

doesn't really have to be carbon though, I've only seen people use it though for sunroof plugs. You could use fiberglass or even sheetmetal to the same effect. Just about anything's lighter than quarter-inch-thick glass.

well, I got a lot done tonight, and it was mostly due to the dry ice.
Image sped things up quite a bit. Im now about 90% done with removing the sound deadening. tomorrow I hope to get the passenger side rear completely done and sanded as well as remove the rest of the deadening

as it sits now...
