I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with a question i have... the question is how can i tell if the ecu in my car is an actual type r ecu ? when i bought it i was told it was a type r ecu and i was just wondering is there a code or some sort of marking that will prove it is a type r ecu ? thanks alot for any help...

The center three digits are "PCT."
