I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Spoons are lighter and they weigh 8.6 lbs.

depends on the size, you cant get 14" TE-37s that are 8LBS IIRC.

I'm with you. I rock a J's 60rs also!

Now as far is i know if you want a really light rim go with CE28's which are lighter than TE37's which are lighter than SW388's

Spoon SW388 15x6.5- 8.6lbs
TE37 15x5.5 - 7.9 lbs
TE37 15x5.6 - 8.2lbs
CE28N 15x5.5 - 7.7lbs

The "Spoon" in my username has nothing to do with Spoon Sports, in any way. Spoon has been my nickname since high school, before I had any interest in cars whatsoever.

But it really isn't that much weight at all. Look at most other aftermarket rims, they weigh quite a bit more than even the Slipstreams. That certainly doesn't stop people from buying them. There are plenty of other parts I'd be more worried about, than to spend that kind of $ on rims. I know I could sure find something better to buy with that extra $1,300. If some of you disagree with me (or just sees things a different way), then that's cool, I respect that.

I agree it's a lot of money, but for those who value performance decreasing rotating weight is priority #1.
