I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

My mom passed away this morning a little after 6. She has been fighting breast cancer for about 4 years now. She is byfar in a better place then here and she has no more pain or suffering. She was like a 2nd mother to both mine and my brothers friends. She helped so many people its amazing, bringing food and clothes to homeless kids downtown, bringing in food for the airmen at her work and many others.

Just thought i should let you guys know, seeing as how i consider you guys as my online family.

Anyways, take it easy.

Thomas

That's terrible news man, hope you're taking it ok.

It's good to know she won't be suffering anymore.

Thanks everyone. I think im taking it pretty good. We all knew this day gonna come. The hardest part was actually the last couple of days, she didnt get up at all, just slept. so i guess you could say that she was in a coma like state.

Im mostly worried about my dad though. But we have a pretty close family so we are gonna be having a lot of them coming and staying here and that will most deffinatly help him, and us.

Yeah my mom was one of the nicest, most caring people you could ever meet. I wish more people would of had the chance to know her, she was a great person.

Once again, thanks.

I think I can say that I speak for myself and the whole site when I send my condolences and sympathy. Cancer isn't pretty, and it's hard losing a parent. Stick with your family and if there's anything any of us can do...let us know.
