I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

It has been at his house ever since he was little. I think he started when he was 11. He's going more permanent this year. The buildings started when I lived near him and we built the maze. He always had a little chapel w/ a coffin in it, but the maze was his first building that had more than one room.

thats some awesome shit. i can say first hand that that building is incredible. the trusses are nice as hell and its as solid as a rock. i havent been in it at night but even in the daylight there are only shards of daylight shining through the intended cracks in the walls.

sorry for getting all philosophical. i just typed a paper.

welp the year is past and i must say it was AMAZING. for the 5 nights we were open we pushed easily 700 people through this year.

on a sad note.. since it was so hectic right up to the day of opening no finished pictures were taken. the damn video lines on the infrared cameras were jacked up so no video was recorded this year for the dvd sales either.. but its a perm. haunt now so im gonna try and get some pics to show you guys.. i do have some EARLY construction shots of the place...

here is a short of the construction of the place... ill get another one once i open the doors back up for the 'SAW' party...

the front of the huant. minus the courtyard. (early stages) Image floor details. even the nailheads are there. when the lights go off you cant even tell its there. but for me knowing its there is what makes me smile. Image some furnature, books, mirrors, Frightmare 06 was the year for 'eye candy' and not many people paid attentions because they were 2 busy screaming or asking to leave.

all the lighting inside the haunt was done with homemade candle fixtures and 100's of flicking bulbs. some of the props were also lit up with homemade c7 spotlight fixtures. Image half ass finished powerblock Image just to show the detail i put into the place this year. this is the main entrance to the haunt. not finished. im going to try and get the place cleaned up and un-cluttered so i can snap more pics and get a video.
