I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Detail? Aw fuck, here goes..
So right when we got there we saw an old ass indycar with a flathead V8 in the lobby, we slung our SCCA guest badges on and walked in (you can't just buy tickets, you have to be invited
) And we went over to the SCCA booth to meet with Mr. Duncan, an old friend of my dad from college and now the VP of competition for the SCCA (mainly in charge of solo 1/2, rallycross, etc.) We set a meet time for lunch and started looking at booths.
Now I can't recall, much less type, EVERYthing I saw, but some highlights are; HKS's VCT (I think that's the name) controller for the RB26, the rep spoke very little english but was doing his damndest to explain this little device. Also, several big-tire V8 door-slammers and many little formula cars, my favorite was the K-pwrd CSR with a full carbon body, sex. There wasn't much in the way of drifting there, only a S13.4 from Formula D, it was silver, don't remember the driver. Also chatted up Oscar Jackson, they've moved completely away from Eaton-type blowers and are focusing on 'fugals, look for their SC'd Fit next year.
My favorite thing I did? Sit in a supercharged Lotus Exige. Easily a tie with a Ferrari F40 for most difficult car to get into. But like the F40, once you're in there.. ahhh, heaven. Plus I just LOVE Lotus. My daughter - Elise Rose - is due next spring
And my middle name is Colin, after Colin Chapman. Yeah, I L O V E Lotus.
All in all, terrific show, wish I could've taken pics.
