I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

this is my first hand experience with pistons first setup was stock bore GSR GE HD sleeves eagle rods (small bolts) Wiseco rollerwaves 9:1 this motor is currently in sam monacs 98 itr. When i took the block to the machine shop every piston was way off size from the other so they bored each individual sleeve specifically for each piston they were that out of tolerence from one another. My current setup is 2.0 type r (from sams car) with eagle rods (big bolt) 9:1 CP and they were dead nuts with one another so in my first hand experince i would never use anything else other than CP with the quality i experinced with their product firsthand.

Not saying whoever uses wiseco has a junksetup just my preference.

good luck man - can't wait to see it at PRP this year.

knauff's right about the valvetrain. By the time you find the ITR stuff you would have been able to pick up something a lot better for right around the same price.

As far as pistons, it's all a matter of opinion. I've ran JE's, Wiseco's and now CP's ... i had motor problems but don't attribute it to the pistons at all. All of the big name pistons companies have their glory stories, and a few nightmares ... just don't call up APC and have them make you a piston and you should be good with whatever you have. Endyn roller waves are good too, but i'm pretty sure they're one of the more expensive pistons around... 500+ and another 100 for the ring set if i'm not mistaken.

RLD-FAB is a great manifold ... i use it and would definately use it again if i did another build. Arizona Forced Induction is good as well ... and cheap. Definately great with customers too.

If you haven't picked up your turbo kit yet though, you might want to look into LoveFab's complete kit ... you'll have to do a search on honda-tech, but it's offered with and without engine/fuel management. The cost for the kit with management (injectors, pump, AEM EMS, 3bar map) is roughly 5000-5500 and uses their mini-me equal length manifold (but you can upgrade to whatever), tial wastegate and bov, backdoor intercooler, 3" aluminum charge piping, 3" downpipe, and your choice of a 28r, 30r, or 35r with any of the available a/r's.

They told me 2-3 weeks wait MAX until it was at my door ... but i ended up not selling my stuff to todd.

again- good luck, and can't wait to see it
