I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

what jdm code is my car?

Post by Mugen Ferio » January 05, 2007

ok i have a 97 civic sedan. whats the jdm code for it. i always thought it was an EK but i wasnt sure what number went with it. then someone told me its an EM, once again,,,,not sure what number. so what is it. i went on Teins website and they have for 96-00 civic listed as EM1, EJ6/7/8. for some reason no EKs are listed. i thought the EJ chassis code was for the 92-95. anyways any help would be great because i have a chance to get a chassis code plate for my car if in fact it is am EM1! any help would be great. thanks guys!

You have an EJ6. usdm.

EM1's are Si's.

In Japan, a sedan could be an EK2, EK3 or EK4.

he wanted to know the JDM code, not the USDM code. I dunno about EKs but my EG(in japan) was an EH on the plate. But my sedan was an EG on the plate.
