I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I'll be having a few of these on the flight to J-Town

vent. relax. have fun. anything goes. off topic chit-chat.

Suntory makes awesome products, and even more awesome ads/marketing...their BOSS coffee is so fucking hillarious
this is correct, but you havent even touched the tip of the iceberg :P. the current billboards for kirin are fucking hilarious, one thing that annoys the hell out of me though is that when you get here and you see drink commercials on TV they accentuate the swallowing noise like times 100 lol. Ebisu black is pretty good, draft one isnt bad, kirin pilsner special isnt bad, and its great to be able to get all these beers in a vending machine :P

I'm gonna be all about Asahi Primetime...lol The can is so fucking cool looking. Me and the guy I'm going with just pick apart the marketing of these things. It's so funny.

Have you seen the Pokka coffee can? With that guy's face on the front, and some business people talking in the background. lol
lol havent seen that one yet. ive seen the suntory boss commercials with tommy lee jones, ive seen the wierd commercial where the AU spokesgirl is driving some car and the dude in back is falling asleep then all of a sudden she hands him a coffee and rips the roof off the car.....japanese commercials are sometimes.....frightening haha.

er, 13000 yen is 109.584 USD USD. :) you paid too much you coulda got them for like 30 cents cheaper! :P

i picked up a suntory premium malts today on the way back from umeda, not a bad beer, however that combini also had guiness in a can....which is HARD to find, it was tough to pass up a guiness to try this beer :P

^ haha

Everything isn't THAT expensive. You just need to know where to go. I'm going with a buddy that's been there countless times, and his in-laws live there. I'll be spending somewhere in the neighborhood of $600 for the entire trip. Maybe less.

$190 - Plane fair round trip
$160 - Hotel
$250 - Drinking money/buying funny shit I see
