I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. hmm... thats about right the AF is more about smarts then strength but they are slowly starting to change that... my best advice to you is dont do anything to stand out from the crowd as thats whats going to get you in Basic... run at least 2 miles EVERY DAY until you leave so your in great shape as the first few weeks PT is gonna suck if you were out of shape like me... they will wash you back if you fail certain parts of the few weeks you are there and you dont want your 6 weeks to turn into 12 weeks cause of you being stupied... be prepared to get little sleep for the first week as well... its not that bad if you get it during the summer time cause you get black flags which means you dont have to work as hard or for very long... oh and hope and pray you get a sister flight as they are much more fun to hang with then a brother flight... that and they like to tease/flirt alot which helps some...
oh and PT is 3 times a week... its all a mind game so just be prepared for that... most of all have fun with it... before you know it it will be over and youll be at your duty station... i still cant believe its been 3 years since i joined... oh and your best bet right now it seems is to go in for only 4 years so you have the option to change duty stations here in the states after a year... they took that away from the people who signed up for 6... im hoping ill beable to go to kadena next cause if i do im going to stay there and prolly get out there and not come back to the states... all this theivery is bullshit and ive really grown to hate the way this country is going but because i have family here i have no problem serving this country so long as they send my ass back to Japan LOL

it's hard for me to run 2 miles out here the roads suck! so i use a tread mill 
but the damn thing likes to stick at high speeds so i can only do a semi fast jog so i have no idea how long it will actually take me to run 2 miles. and for my sake thank god the strength part isn't as hardcore as army and unfortunately i dunno if ill be able to pick summer as the time i go to basic cause my parents are leaving to arizona soon so if i leave with them ill have to deal with a different recruiter. the one i got now is the only one i've ever talked to so far that isn't all pushy like you have to go or you'll fail in life lol. that would be cool if i got a sister flight
