I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Insurance question

Post by JDMJedi » February 10, 2007

Ok guys, everyone knows what the situation is with my car. Ok now I am not happy with my car insurance right now. I mean my agent won't call me back. If I want an update on my car I have to call the body shop myself. I mean is it just me or is that wrong? Anyways the point of my post is this. I have rental car insurance, but the damn rental place never has any cars. My boss told me that when she was in an accident with rental insurance she went through the same deal. No rental car, her insurance company gave her like $600 for that. So I got excited about the idea of getting that kind of money. I called my insurance company up... nothing. They will give me tghe $15 I paid for rental insurance, but not the $570 I should get for not having a rental car for 19 days. I mean is my boss wrong, or should I actually get that???

Any opinions would be great

You didn't rent a car, so they don't have to pay you that $. You have to have proof that you actually rented a car. It's not their fault the rental car place is screwing you over. I think your boss is wrong, or she just explained it wrong.

You paid for rental in your premium. If they don't have any locally you should still be able to get a rental elsewhere. Either way your insurance should have to pay that since you paid the premium.

USAA is fuckin you or progressive? They should let you, if anything, get it from a differant company, you need a car.

progressive is. They're being incredibly gay to him. I don't think I'll be renewing my policy w/ them after seeing how they screwed him over.

Yeah I am discontinueing (however you spell it) my insurance with progressive on the 15th, USAA is taking over after that. I think they know how to take better care of soliders than progressive does.
