I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Post by 98exploda » February 19, 2007

anybody done one? im thinkin about buying a g3 once i get my x paid off which wont be for a couple years. (plan on keeping the x as a daily) Unless i have the funds sooner. Just curious what does it cost and is it hard? i did some lookin around on ebay and im guessing after parts, shipping, paint, and instalation it would be close to 4K?

Sorry if this sounds dumb but what do you mean by g3 and getting your x paid off. I just did a jdm front on my 96 integra it ran me just under 2K. I looked high and low for the best deal and by far hmotorsonline.com is the best deal and most complete front end you will get from anyone. Good luck

your best bet is to try to find one locally (IE driving distance) for sale and pick it up that way ... you can usually save some money. I ended up getting my front end for free, due to trading some parts that came on my GSR when I bought it that i had no use for anymore (gsr shortblock and jackson racing supercharger) .. I bought the car for 8500 already supercharged and i had plans to turbo it anyway so it all worked out when my boss came across a front end and bought it, even though he didn't have an integra anyway. I also got a raise out of the deal haha.

ANYWAY - i ended up getting the conversion done along with a full color change to the car for 2000, and that included all the jambs minus the engine bay.

all in all, just be patient and wait for something to come along.
