I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

idreamidrive wrote:this summer they are predicting it to be less expensive than last summer, but the reason the gas prices jump up during summer is because there are two types of gas blends, summer and winter. summer is cleaner because its supposed to produce less emissions for the green house gas stuff, or something.
thats bullshit its all the same maby winter gas has a little dry gas in it. for the most part its the same

no lowlow, I think idream is right. I remember reading something about that. That gas in the summer is a different blend to help with emmisisions, and the winter has something to help with clogging and freezing.

It's true, gas in the northern states is different from summer to winter. For the above mentioned reasons as well as for the cold weather effecting how the engine performs. They need it to help cars start easier in the winter as well as make sure it's a good octane for the colder/denser air that will be filling the cylinders. I'm not sure which states do it, or even if all northern states do, but most do.

But here regular is going for around $2.66

Ok time to restart this. With the recent issue of the British sailors being taken th price of gas has climbed quiet a bit. Let see where everyone is at now.

Started $2.30.
Now $2.65

2.91 for regular around here is the cheapest I've seen, but I saw it at 2.99 at some places 2 days ago.
