I see alot of people in the "honda world" talk shit about Rota, and then go and buy Password JDM stuff??? A knock off is a knock off, I don't care if they're wheels or not.

BTW...I have no problem with Rota or Password JDM...I'm just making a point.

It's all in the research that you do.

I have no remorse for someone who buys something to save a couple bucks and is unhappy with the quality of the product.

On the other hand, I do and i will continue to buy things that are cheaper that serve the some purpose with the same quality.

a real enthusiast can spot a fake from the real deal a mile away anyway ... so i say that's fair enough for credibility.

very true. if you can pull off fake parts and people cant notice then i guess you can chuckle and pull it off, but you're right to a true enthusiast they should be able to spot the fake.

my only problem is this:

1) that chode who rocks a knockoff part, but says it is the real deal. He doesn't say, Spoon "style" he says, "this is a spoon this" I hate that dude.

2) is when some of the psrts are so fake they do not do what the real one does. apexi makes a air fuel controller. there os a kncok off one that is a little bigger, but says it is apexi. problem is, it doesn't control shit. It just plugs into your computer and sits there.

That I hate. you wanna make a knock off product. Go for it, but do it all the way you know. Make it just like the original, but with a different name ie rota. but don't sell something as apexi when it isn't. That is why places are going out of buisness. Someone bought something they thought was apexi and it wasn't. It didn't work, so they told all their frineds to not buyy that part.

However Skunk 2 has already proven to the masses that even though said companies like BLOX Racing are manufactured in the same place, that Skunk 2s products are actually more refined with less corners being cut. Case in point, their Intake Manifold.

At the end of the day, and as someone has already previously mentioned, you get what you pay for.
