very true. if you can pull off fake parts and people cant notice then i guess you can chuckle and pull it off, but you're right to a true enthusiast they should be able to spot the fake.mr_miyagi wrote:It's all in the research that you do.
I have no remorse for someone who buys something to save a couple bucks and is unhappy with the quality of the product.
On the other hand, I do and i will continue to buy things that are cheaper that serve the some purpose with the same quality.
a real enthusiast can spot a fake from the real deal a mile away anyway ... so i say that's fair enough for credibility.

and its mostly true in my own opinion...becuase i see kids on other forums all the time with posts likejon dupong wrote: its different for everybody, i think people do it because they like that style, they like that flavor...and there gonna buy the parts that are the knockoff cuz they like that look...and thats fine, they will be done with that industry in 2-3 months, their gonna lose that flavor..and their gonna loose that passion.
and thats cool sometimes to becuase i remember in high school i wanted all that name brand stuff...and would just save forever and try to get it, when most of my friends were getting knock off junk for their cars and everyone thinking it was the shit cuz it was within their budget...and five years later im still in the game and they have all moved on.knockoff tuner wrote:im getting outta the game....f/s * sytle lip, JDM style fogs, rotas/spun wheels, JDM style black housing headlights ebay intake, headers, exhaust...ect ect..
However Skunk 2 has already proven to the masses that even though said companies like BLOX Racing are manufactured in the same place, that Skunk 2s products are actually more refined with less corners being cut. Case in point, their Intake Manifold.mr_miyagi wrote:word.
It doesn't help that there are companies like blox who is manufactured at the same place as skunk2, but kills skunk2's prices. People are wising up to the whole namebrand thing ... and realizing that there are quality parts put out by lesser companies for lesser cost ... maybe it's just time for the 'namebrand' companies to wise up and stop trying to get people to jock their nuts just to have a name...
For the most part, i don't like people buying fake parts ... but if it's the same quality, why not?
