I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

That guy was a douche bag, talking about how fwd cars should be banned. Funny how the Integra won the season. He's just crying like a little bitch, because he lost the season to a fwd car.

And saying that a rwd car will go around a corner faster or better just because it's rwd is ignorant. For some beginner or amature, sure. But for a professional who knows how to set up a suspension to get rid of understeer on a fwd car, and someone who actually knows how to drive it, they can't be counted out; straight line or curves.

Yes but a professional can use oversteer far better than a pro can counter act understeer. That is how drifting can to be. Some say drifting is not a sport, and I agree, but when someone is able to beat the hell out a feild of racers by like minutes, because he has mastered the ability of oversteering a car to the brink, then I would say rwd is better. Fwd is not worse and i would never say that. I am saying that ideal setup for 95% of ALL race cars is some form of either RWD MRWD. F1, Nascar, JGTC, Rolex. They are primarily RWD cars.

a couple things wrong with that

1. we dont kno how many laps were left
2. he might have gotten slowed down passing the other FF car. drivers block and do whatever it takes not to get passed. rollin roadblocks are hard to get around no matter how fast ur car is

i bet i can find more videos of the s2k waisting FF cars....

FR cars rock, simply because i own one

END GAME!!

he not only lost that race but the whole SEASON to a FF integra!!!

FF this and FF that doesn't come to play until the drivers are seriously good at driving and know their cars. i'm not a race driver but i could hang with the s2000(sc), sti, 240, miata on the corners. they're not bad drivers and we all learned how to drive on the track at the same time. maybe i was pushing my pace over theirs but i still hung with them on the corners. i snuck up behind them when they were too busy correcting their oversteer. i was also running falkin 615s. that helped A LOT. i thought i was actually good until i got my reality check once the veterans showed up with their track-ready evo VIIIs and corvettes. HAHAH. race gas never smelled so good..

tomoyasu can vouche for me. he was there!

there is sooo many variables....if driver was constant then there would be more argument, but with variables like tires, suspension set up, wieght restrictions, power restrictions, etc etc that actually put the FF to FR as the only variable.

take a FR and FF give them the same weight and same power and stock suspenion and tires and then tell me who wins.

well do it then. haha.
if the guy wants to run his mouth about FF cars then maybe he needs to put a lil more power under the hood. the FF cars obviously did.
