I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Im in the same boat as most everyone else. Gotta assemble the built motor yet, drop it in the car, get it tuned, etc. I have a shitload of cosmetic stuff to put on but that wont be that bad, should take a day or 2 at the most for that. Im going to push hard to try and get the built motor set-up ready to roll for Carlisle, it should be close. If its not looking good im definatley not going to rush it and run the risk of fucking something up, too much $$$ to have to start all over again. Guess we'll see how things fall into place over the next 30+ days.

This is the first year I'm not really stressed about my car, I need to get a new battery and clean up the car. Maybe do my new headlight conversion as well.

As for friends cars....
1. Need to refinish the front end on a turbo gsr w/jdm front
2. Install motor on another turbo gsr and get the auto to manual swap wiring done.
3. Finish motor swap on FD RX7 before scheduled tuning day mid april
4. Fix steering on a 1st gen RX7
5. Install various parts on a new si.

Thankfully I'm only helping all these guys not doing the majority of the work.

well i'm about 80% done.

Finished absolutely everything i needed to do to get it ready for the body shop earlier in the day. Stripped the last bit of interior and simple greened the shit out of the inside... it's about spotless.

Front end was delivered to the bodyshop this morning from HMotors, just waiting on their schedule to free up to squeeze me in... they know it has to be done by May 1, so it's all good.

Once it gets back, I just have to do brakes, put the interior back together and install my steering wheel and block off tray. Depending on my mood, I might do something with my guages that for the time being are just hanging around where my cupholders used to be, install my turbo timer and XM radio and try to make everything look pretty and organized. Also ordering some extended wheel studs and lugnuts here in a few minutes so if they come in, i'll toss those on too.

Still debating on doing a quickie on the bay ... it looks awful, but my luck i'll fuck it up by spraying it black haha... The black would only be temporary anyway, until winter when the motor gets pulled, then it'd be color matched ... but this red just kills me. Check it out for yourself, feel free to puke...
