I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
Carlisle's coming... anyone trying to get anything done beforehand?

so i started spraying my bay today .... just doing a quickie, but trying to make it look half decent too. You can definately tell it's a DIY job, but it only needs to last until next spring, it cost me a total of 7 bucks, and so far i've only spent maybe 2.5 hours total from the time I got out of the truck, until i walked up here and started typing. I got the passenger side of the fire wall clear to the passenger side headlight finished (minus a few touchup spots that i'll get later).. I would finish it tonight, but it's going to get dark soon and i don't like starting something i can't finish ... so the second half will have to wait ... and it looks like it might be a bitch.
I've used maybe a total of 10 pieces of 3M blue painters tape, a few pieces of foil, and a rag for some masking ... there's some over spray in some spots, but like i said - i don't care .... it looks 100 times better than red. Oh, and it's sprayed with duplicolor semi-gloss black high heat engine enamel, just because it's what i had laying around.
Here's the before and after.

the part i'm not looking forward to ...
The red on the bottom of the shock tower in the 2nd pic is just a reflection ... it's all black
