I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

TRD Frustration

Post by JDMJedi » March 01, 2007

Ok so I wwant to buy some TRD parts for my car. So I do a search on Yahoo.com. The first site in the TRD website. Lots of stuff, neat looking, but mainly geared towards trucks. The second sie listed is the Offical webpage. That you select it in english takes you to a sweet page that once you select your car takes you to a page with asweet pic of your car all TRD'd out. This pages has everything. The TRD USA wheels for my Scion are these ugly 18" 5 spoke chrome things. But the Offical TRD page has these sweet ass bronze 5 spoke deals in a 15" and 16" size. It has pretty much everything you could want for your car. It even lists part numbers. Then why is it Toyota cannot get these parts???? When I picked up my shift knob the other day the package was straight outta Japan. There was like 5 words in English the rest was in Japanesse. But if I give the retard behind the desk the part number off of the "Offical TRD Website" he looks at me like I am retarded and says he doesn't see that part. Why the hell not man?? I tell you what it is the USDM man keeping us down!!! Down with the man!!!!!

Most TRD parts are not available at dealers. You need to order direct from TRD they do stock most of it in the US.

Most parts are available. Only the ones from TRDUSA though. Not the good stuff from Japan. The only stuff from Japan I can get is if TRDUSA brought it over too, things like the shift knob, or oiul cap.

If I want the sexy bronze 16x7 rims. No I have to buy the 18x6.5 chrome pos rims. That is what I am mainly complaining about.

Mugen Si. That thing is nice. Finally honda is getting on board and realizing that selling mugen is a good idea
