I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I got it from A&J racing in Canada. 505 shipped with mounting bracket. and yeah it looks stock but it cools better and is thicker....it's just the resivours (sp?) aren't aluminum.

I just picked up my Rad Hoses so tomorrow the Radiator is going in. Then in a couple weeks my HT plug wires will be in. After that.....Painting the front bumper again and Mugen lip. and possibly getting Spoon mirrors if I can make it work.

Oh shit bro my bad, I got the Radiator from Opak Racing. http://www.spoonsports.us/catalog/products/radiator.htm ......The price is $515 now. Call and see if they have them in stock. I got the Hoses and plug wires (still to come from Japan) from A&J Racing. Hope that helps you out?

that was one of the stupidest buys i have ever seen. a thicker core is goinging to cool slower and crappier. you need to do research of thermodynamics so you understand when something is a retarded buy. im not just hating on you. im hating on ppl that dont understand proper cooling. i could have just spray painted spoon onto a radiator for you, and you would have not known the difference. you should have gone longer and thinner to get better cooling, also something i doubt you need. a thermostat would have taken care of your cooling a lot better than a new raditator, unless yours was rottening out or something

Looks good. for some jdm bling. Why are Fluidyne radiators twice as thick as stockers and have the same dimensions for height and length? If they dont cool better why do you see that style of rad on almost every turbo car?

first things first.....the core....isn't that much bigger than stock. And second...I wouldn't drop 500 bills on something if I didn't HAVE to have it to make my car run. I posted this thread for the people that care about what others have.....not to get an asshole comment from someone about Thermodynamics. Go preach to someone that care what you think....and keep your two sense to yourself. Thanks!

I agree this is much better than a thin civic radiator and WILL cool better, but it is just a 97 del sol vtec radiator with Spoon sprayed on it. I have the same (non Spoon) radiator in my car, the del sol used a thicker/dual core than the civics.
