my visit to hybrid today.

well today started off as my dyno day... im pumped i get everything ready and swap cars int he driveway. then homer arrives then we get ready to head down to hybrid. well we jump in and i go to turn it over then nothing. wont start i was like WTF!?!?! so we pissed with it checked spark time fuel all good. swapped plug wires messed with the ecu still nothing. i flip my wires 180* out fires right up. so we head down while going through const on 22 it loads up stalls 3 times im like this sucks. so we get there and pull it in. strap down and i change over my injectors and ecu. we start the basemap tune. pull #4 turbo goes out. im like damm this ant my day., call my buddy and hes got a MHI SBR evo3 big 16g he delivers it from b-ville. as im on the dyno ripping my car apart to swap turbos. he gets there i install it. so we tune more and more. ran total 20 times and it seems i gotta swap cams. the NA cam isnt cutting it and i gotta put the stock y8 back in. its tuned for now but i go back wed for the final tune. i will post #'s and sheet up then.

well i pulled my cam and its a stock one and the lo/hi vtec crossover problem/power loss is due to my intake manifold so i pulled it off today and put the stock y8 one back on. i got a small vac leak but i will have it fixed this afternoon. im hoping Wednesdays tune goes well and shotting for 250+ whp.
300+ will snap my rods. haha i knew i should of put eagles in there. if i find a used set or cheap new set this weekend im gonna pull the engine and do a quick rod swap. but we will see.

thanks guys.
i got my new intake manifold installed and some other odds and ends taken care of some looming and wire tucking has been done today also. but im hoping for the best. 250+ whp should be wasy to do since im making 170 crank and 150 whp now @5psi and im planning on setting the tune @18psi... i will keep you updated.

we can give it a whirl. if i clock in over 150whp haha alright #'s for 5psi but there is so much more to unleash. ill cya at carlisle kyle.
