the 6x9's nah not at the moment but eventually i was going tp pick up something small when i got the component speakers. im not going to be running an aftermarket deck either. i got those 6x9's really fucking cheap so as long as its a better replacement then the infinity refrence blown out shits i have now im not going to sweat it.

i plan on re-wiring the entire audio in the car after i rip the interior out for paint. i wanna run a bit bigger gauge wire then stock. should hear a diff in sound then.

i just picked up some new infinity reference 6x9's and 6.5's from a buddy for best buy's cost. He bought them for his car, ended up selling it so i nabbed em. I didn't realize they were 6x9's until i picked them up tho, i thought they were all 6.5's... oh well. I'll just use some self tapping screws and hope for the best ... there looks to be enough room back there... we'll see. I've been running crap for speakers since i bought the car.. blown stockies for a while .. then picked up a diamond audio component set for next to nothing, only to find that one of them was blown, and i've been running some crappy walmart speakers in the back that i got for free...

I just want something that i can listen to some metal so loud at a stoplight that it drowns out the mainstream gangster rap bumping in the trunk that i always seem to get stuck beside.

yeah im not running any type of subs so i figure ill spend a lil more on my components to make it sound good. the reviews on the 6x9's i got are good people are saying they bump really well for 6x9's
