I never knew what that was for, and I've never been zapped when getting in/out of the car, so I couldn't understand why some cars had those.. I guess now I do..

i get freaking destroyed, sometimes at night u can actualy see the lil bolts comming from my fingertips. my gf always asks if im alright if she hears it hahaha. so im extremely excited for this part. probly more excited about this then any other part i have hahaha.

i thought they were placed on cars also to keep the static electricity lower so that dust would not stick to your car at all/as much.... basically if these caught on, California duster would go out of business...anyone know what i am talking about?
