I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

So tonight even though i got the broken shifting hand i went to the track with a couple guys and ran pretty decent, heres a pic of my slips; This was also my first time ever going to the track...

spun the tires on a couple runs on the start, hoping getting a camber kit will help with that and likely i will end up letting some air out of the tires to try and help out before i do that...
Image once i get the cast off and get my RT and lower psi to try and get my 60' down i should be close to high 14's i'm hoping...

So i finally got around to doing the 97-01 sun roof swap. Also had my distributor go bad so replaced that, got into some trouble though so i need some help finding the mounting bracket for a H23 for the distributor. Mine cracked when i was putting the new distributor on and i have no idea where i can get just this. Anyways here are some new Pics. Will have some New additions come spring but for now this is about it...

Yellow circle is around the crack Image The O-ring was shot on the distributer which i am thinking might be why this one went. oil was everywhere even managed to get inside of the cap. Image Image Image cars a little dusty, but the built sticker makes up for it;)

I think I've got that laying in the garage and was about to throw it out, let me check on that.

Me personally (and if I were you) I'd grab a set of the Legend calipers if I saw a set for a good price. They're a nice upgrade, and just as good as the hefty walleted-NSX caliper swap.
I feel you on keeping the h23, we'll both do it together. I was looking into getting a set of Crower 1's for mine (A-don't have the money to get the springs and retainers for stage 2's and B-would be daily driving the car and can't afford for things to screw up as I'm in school full time.) Let me know how it goes if you end up getting them.
What header is that btw? Looks like a pretty nice header, they don't make shit for our motors. Basically ebay/Megan racing/DC Sports, and they're all the same. I wish Vibrant would hurry up with our header!
I'll check on that part, if there's anything else you might want for your h23 I've got it FS. (Including a 92k miles on a rebuilt head!) PM for details. Letting stuff go cheap!
Have a good one,
Michael

yeah, would love some stage 2's but been trying to stay away from internal stuf for now. I know once i start i wont be able to stop so trying to get other stuf done first before i go dropping to much in head work. if i do cams i know i'll end up doing fuel, ecu, valves, then likely get convinced to do high comp pistons so trying to save myself from getting trapped while im limited on cashflow;)

sending you a pm about the H23 stuf though, would be great if you have it.

The header is also just one of those cheap ones off ebay. Was like 75$ shipped. Bolted up perfect and for the price i couldnt complain. I've heard alot about H23 headers being really restrictive so figured i would try it out. So far no problems with the header but i wouldnt suggest a catback from ebay unless it is name brand. they are the aluminized stainless steel so they stil rust after only 1 season(atleast here in NY it did). H23 are limited for choices so unless you wanna drop alot on another header this does the job. The tint fades out though after a month or so but i plan on header wrap anyways before the car comes out again in the spring so not really worried about the look anymore.

Cool that's what I'm about to get. Yeah unfortunately we don't have much of an option for alot of parts like that.

BTW, I didn't see that bracket, I'll check again though.

Actually we have my old distributor at work (I got hired right after the guys did the swap for me, lol) and I'm almost 100% sure that bracket is still on it.
I'll let you know tomorrow if it is.
