I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

replica Varis 350z bumper intake on miata

Post by airbrush1 » August 14, 2007

Well, got a bug up my ass after seeing one of these on a Z at work.... figured that the upper contour of the bumper was about the same, and went ahead and ordered a carbon replica of the vent.

my bumper reinforcement has been removed to fit the intercooler and piping, so there really isn't anything in the way of airflow fron the vent, except perhaps the radiator. I could always add some tubing to funnel air directly towards the intake area.

I'd like to apoligise for the car being so dirty, no garage and a surrounding of trees is a bitch for a black car!

Now for the pics, digi cam kinda sucks

 That'll flow right into the turbo. Looks better than a velocity stack.
