Opinions please_JDM VIII or JDM IX rear for EVO

OK, well I decided I am getting the black chrome Advan RGII rims for sure. I also decided I am sticking with the EVO VIII front bumper for sure. I am adding the Do-Luck lip and JDM MR headlights as I love the look as you can see here:
So as some of you know I have had a hell of a time trying to get a JDM IX rear bumper over the last month. But then I got to thinking. Do I really want a JDM IX rear on a VIII with a VIII front? I do think it looks good overall but in keeping with a clean JDM theme I am now thinking maybe the JDM VIII rear would be better for me and match my VIII front better. I am honestly 50/50 on this and would really like some comments. The above pic is how my front WILL look in summer of '08 but the rear up in the air. Please look at the pics below and comment!

i think the IX rear would look the best....but it is an Evo...so neither of them would look bad. i like what you're deciding to do with the front too, it will look SEXY

I would probably put the VIII on it if you were trying to stay true to the gen. Or if it would even bother you.

Thanks guys. I think the IX rear will work with the front with the lip. Plus I will be getting the dark heads and tails and selling my red VII tails eventually. I am not taking off the wing either!! lol! I am not a fan of big wings but I just think the STi and EVOs look naked without the OEM wings. I mean it flows with the car since I have the bulgey fenders and all IMO. Trust me, I am going to put a nice looking ride together, wing included.
