I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

ah ok. i hear the greddy exhaust is really quiet on the ED. I just didnt like the can on it, thats why i never got it. the HKS exhaust is supposed to be really really quiet (almost like stock) on the ED as well, and i really liked the look of it to boot. outside of an exhaust and intake, what parts are you looking for?

suspension mostly, sway bars, full coils, lower arm bars, strut tower bars, rear LCA's also id like to get some more low end power, so i was thinking cams, cam gears, valve springs, skunk2 intake manifold, skunk2 carbon composite fuel rail..not much more beyond that performance wise, mostly interior shit, wheels, paint.

well the fuel rail wont give you any noticeable power, so you can save some money there. there was a really good LCA that was out for the ED chassis, i think it was SCP or SCA that made it? I cant remember the brand, but it was supposedly one of the best, but then they stopped making them for a while. I dont know if they resumed production or not. if you really wanna up the handling of the car, grab an autopower roll bar ;)

really? good to know. now i dont need to spend $260 on something that wont do much. are the skunk2 LCA's any good? if i start going to track days i might pick one of those up. but since its my DD i dont wont a bunch of crazy bars on the in side. im thinking about getting the EM racing rear strut/c-pillar triangulated bar set, but ill probably just go with a spoon or FEEL'S rear strut bar for teh JDM bling

hmm, i dont know. when i had my rex they werent even making LCA's at all. i cant imagine them being bad as skunk2 is pretty reputable. as for the coilovers i would recommend getting a set from progress auto. i used their swap springs in my rex. i convinced my friend to get their coilovers, best ride i have ever had in a crx. shit was smooth as ice. while traditionally strut bars dont do much, they have a really positive affect on the ED, i would say because the car is old so it just tightens up the shit that has loosened up over time. another thing you may want to look into is changing out all the bushings. get a bushing kit (i forgot the most common brand) but dont use the bushings for the rear trailing arms. use honda OEM for those. that will make the car feel a ton better. also the beauty of the autopower rollbar is that its a bolt in, 3 point bar. so if you wanted you could always take it back out. but yeah.
