I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

New Camera = New Interior Pics

Post by 96whiteknight » November 06, 2007

I just picked up a new Rebel XTi and decided to take a few experimental shots with it. These were taken on full-auto, as I still need to figure out all the manual settings, etc.
C/C appreciated! Image Image Image

.try to move your finger out of the way. hahah
.closing your door will make the shot look 10x better.
.maybe focus on the subject more. your sparco shot is half gone to unwanted space. i know exactly what style of shot you were going for, just try to minimize unfocused spots to make it more easy on the eye.

It's the T1R knob, remember? It seems to be more silver than most of the online store pics show. I'm not sure why. I wish it had a little more of a "burnt" look to it. Though, I still drool over it every time I get in my car.

The "finger" in the first pic is the red, bottom section of my steering wheel. It's way too much red for my taste now, which is why I'm still looking for a different wheel.

Yes, the open door REALLY stands out, now that you mention it. Won't happen again.
I tried snapping a few full-interior shots, but the sun was going down quick and killing the lighting.

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely take them into consideration during my next shoot.

oh yeah, that's right.

a huge help on interior shots is a tripod. some parts are just too dark for you to be freestyling it.
