I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Cars are great. We spend a lot of time in our garages, right? Sometimes, when a person like us gets our shit together well enough to build a home, they include a bad ass garage, or better yet, integrate cars into their home itself.
These are just two of the magazines highlighting this awesomeness that I've come across. If you know of more, post them up.

I'll probably add in Modern homes with renewable resources eventually.
Also, I love homes with basement garages, built into a hill is even better.

The garages aren't limited to living rooms like the two examples I posted. Search through there, there's quite a few that have working garages. I just think it's awesome to have a car in the living area.

Thats rad. A few friends have their bikes in their living rooms...... only because they have no where else to put them during the winter, kinda cool to I guess.

I've seen adds in Autoweek mags for a two-level garage floor. It lowers into the ground and also raises to the second floor. I love the idea of that, you could have a completely inaccessable basement garage with only this "elevator" as means of getting in and out. You could also use it to get a car into a second story studio/office/whatever you want.
I had model cars on shelves in the living room for a couple months. Then they "didn't match the decorating". What are the odds of me getting real cars in the house?
