I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

CF rear diffuser

Post by Fast510 » January 08, 2008

A friend and I run our own business named F/M Tuning and started getting into carbon fiber work. I got the idea to make this based off of another EG hatch that I saw with a similiar diffuser, slightly different design. We thought it turned out pretty good.

If anyone wants any info on it or has any suggestions, our ears, (and minds), are open.
Image I don't have any better pictures because there is almost 5 inches of snow on the ground. But when it all melts i'll get some snaps of it actually on the car.

(Picture doesn't show it with mounting holes or tow hook location cut out either).

There is one in the works for 240's right now. I just got rid of mine so the process has slowed a bit. It's big though, lol. We are focusing more on FB first gen. RX-7's and DA Integra's right now.

Yep, eventually when everything is moving smooth and more people become interested they'll be up for sale. Shouldn't be too much longer though, (hopefully, lol).

Does that cover the area that the Honda OE diffuser covers, or does it cover more area?

But I'd definitely like to see how the finished product looks, both as is and installed.

Something could be worked out, lol.

I've only seen about 2 pictures of the OE diffuser for an EG hatch but I think ours is bigger by a tad, lol. (I'm going to assume you own an EG hatch). If you look underneathe your car you'll see two screws on your bumper equal length from each other and centered with the car, and on your rear crossmember you'll see two bolts on the bottom just in a tad from the screws up front. It covers that whole area.

If anyone wants dimensions and weight just let me know.
