i gots electrical power, but the engines not turning over at all. thought that it could be a loose ground or something, but after tightening everything down still no juice. any suggestions on what it could be? starter?

i would check that first if its not turning over.

yeah i was gonna say ground when i read the thread but if you checked them i would say starter.

Try the main relay and I think there is a fuse for the starter you could also look at

actually, that one was loose. the guy i got the car from put another ground from almost the same spot...do i need it? No fuses are blown, stock ignition...not sure about the ECU

definately check the main relay. those things go bad on EFs all the time and they can cause the exact symptoms you are having.

You try push starting it (if its manual?) my EF wouldnt start one day and I push started it and after that its never had a problem starting (weird)

yeah i am able to push start it. had my battery checked and it had no cold crank amps* which are needed to turn it over. got a new battery, still no worky. as soon as i get some money ill slap a new starter in.

Check for voltage at the starter with the ignition turned to start. Damn you guys .......
