Vacuum lines!

Is there anyway I can plug any of this stuff off, there is so many vacuum lines it looks like a pissed off octopus. Anything to solve this?

well, most of them go to a component that requires it. there may be a couple you could cap off but overall its not an exceedingly good idea

lol, wanted to do the same but kinda realized it is almost pointless, i might get a couple feet of vacuum lines just to have new ones and to try and take some slack away but we'll see. Also some aftermarket throttle bodies relocate the vacume lines and TPS to the back or bottom so they arent so obvious but other than that not alot to do about them unless you get rid of some parts that use them.

I will likely take the bracket off the firewall that collects 3 dif lines (mines rusted anyways) and making the lines more direct. Best bet is to try and just see where they go and where they end and see whats bewtween it and if you could get rid of it.

so here's the mess i have. I will be removing that rusted bracket and running some vacum lines directly or possibly just getting a new one of those brackets. either way i also found a pic of a cleaner BB4 with an H22 but it has alot done. battery relocated, PS removed, AC removed, Cruise Control removed, and also the altenator and other wires tucked. Only prob is i cant see alot of the vacum lines because of the bad lighting and distance of the pic but by removing the CC that gets rid of 2 big vacuum lines so like said before it depends on how much you want to keep/get rid of. The Vacum lines aren't the only thing we have to worry about:P

Couple things I am stil debating include taking out the AC but am about 90% decided on removing that. but other than that i kinda like my CC and PS. Maybe I could loop the PS lines considering i have been reading up on that and it sounds relatively easy and also with a breather i hear it isnt that bad. The PS gone would be nice considering it has a huge bracket and also the PS lines are fugly and a pain in the ass if you ever have to remove the valve cover. Also will get rid of the resevior and the brackets that hold that (which of course mine are rusted/corroded.) Im looking into getting a new DD and will tear this car down next winter when i take it off the road again to do a couple changes to just keep cleaning it up.

I also got the strut bar out so you might notice the brackets on the strus for it but the bar is out atm.

also goin to get rid of the prop rod and put in the hood dampers. likely get the kit off of PWJDM or even actually heard the ebay kits arent that bad. will see though. wont be something i do til next year likely...
